A federal judge dismissed charges against a Fayette County man accused of paying to have his warehouse burned down to collect insurance money.
Jesse Risha, of Uniontown, was scheduled to receive a new trial on Tuesday after his 2004 conviction was thrown out because the judge ruled the government withheld information from the defendant.
Risha had been accused of hiring a man to burn down the G.C. Murphy building in Clairton to collect at least $300,000 in insurance before declaring bankruptcy.
